Surreptitiously suspended
From your tantalising tree
You tempt me with a whisper
And the scent of secret fruits

I am ready to be ripened
A world of wisdom beckons me
Just offer me one bite
To quench my thirst

Please tell the truth to me
Pry open my eyes
And make me see
Unlock my mind
Awaken me
Arouse my consciousness
Oh sacred serpent
Ouroboros

You are all consuming
Consume me
You are forever
Eternity
I yearn for your knowledge
Enlighten me
I must break these rules
