Cape Cod Morning by Edward Hopper


He watches her watch for him.
She's an open window.
He's near enough to hear her hum,
to see her smile, as she waits.
The darkness coaxes him.
He takes a step.

Beautiful - obviously with the official royal approval from Mr Motion I cannot give my usual essay length comment as it would prove futile against a Laureatte's verdict.
